With four decades of experience to draw on his repertoire is wide and far-ranging, from down-and-dirty blues through to wistful songs in modern acoustic mode.
His soulful vocals provide novel interpretations of blues and
jazz classics, latin vibes, rhythm and blues standards, and gospel-tinged folk songs.
Rollo’s accompanying guitar work has the effect of full orchestrations using ragtime and classical finger-picking techniques interwoven with soulful melodic solos that sometimes make you feel there must be a least two musicians playing.
